Nectar Yoga Retreat Centre

Day 1 // Friday, August 16

10 - 12 AM | Optional Kayak or Paddle Board // For those interested in taking the full day off on Friday, we’ll be hitting the water together on Friday morning to explore the beauty of the island. We’ll be leaving from Bowen Island Sea Kayaking in Snug Cove as a group. Note: Rental cost additional. *We suggest booking in advance.

12:30 - 2:30 PM | Optional Lunch // Join us on the wonderful patio at Doc Morgan’s for lunch before check-in. Note: This lunch is not included in the price of the retreat.

3:00 PM | Check-In // Get settled into your rooms and check out the retreat centre.

3:45 PM | Group Orientation // Important information for the weekend led by Nectar staff.

4:00 PM | Welcome Circle // Get to know Mo, Bryony and the other guests on your retreat + go over the retreat schedule.

4:30 - 6 PM | Tension Release Yoga with Bryony + Sound Bowl Healing Meditation with Mo. Release the tension from your week with this relaxing opening practice to kick off the weekend!

6:15 PM | Dinner // A delicious 3-course vegetarian meal.

7:30 – 10 PM | Community Games Night.
You are also welcome to take free time, book the forest tub, or sit by the outdoor fire depending on fire restrictions at the time.

Day 2 // Saturday, August 17

8:30 - 9:30 AM | Morning Vinyasa Yoga with Monique - Ease into the energy of the day with a yoga sequence linked to the breath to help you drop into your body. A guided meditation will set our intention for the day's activities and the full class will leave you energized to begin the day.

9:45 AM | Breakfast // A filling vegetarian breakfast served with coffee, juice and tea.

10:30 - 12 PM | Growth + Vision Boarding Workshop with Mo + Bry // Make a vision board for the year ahead, set some goals, and get into the growth mindset of the summer season so that you can reap the harvest come fall.

12 - 1 PM | Free Time // Journal, read in the lodge, explore the island, walk to the lake, chill in the forest tub. Lots of great options! Extra services like massage, reiki, and more can be booked here.

1 - 2 PM | Lunch // A nourishing vegetarian lunch.

2 – 4:30 PM | Free Time // Journal, read in the lodge, explore the island, walk to the lake, chill in the forest tub. Lots of great options! Extra services like massage, reiki, and more can be booked here.

5 - 6 PM | Nectar Forest Walk // A gentle group hike on Nectar’s private trails with a mindfulness practice to kick off the evening.

6:15 PM | Dinner // Another wonderful 3-course vegetarian meal.

7:30 – 8:30 PM | Connection Circle + Community Tarot in the Dome // Connect with your fellow retreat members through guided prompts and a community tarot card pull.

8:30 – 10:00 PM | Free Time + Outdoor Fire** // Gather around the fire, book the forest tub, hang in your cabin or the lodge. **We’ll start an outdoor fire depending on fire restrictions at the time.

Day 3 // Sunday, August 18

8:30 - 9:30 AM | Sunday Morning Flow with Bryony // A slow, feel good morning yoga flow to welcome the day. Easy like Sunday morning!

9:45 AM | Breakfast // A filling vegetarian breakfast served with coffee, juice and tea.

10:15 AM | Closing Circle // Join us for a closing circle in the lodge to say farewell and close the retreat.

10:30 - 11 AM | Check-Out // Pack your bags and check-out at the Nectar shop.

11 - 4 PM | Optional Hike up Mt. Gardner // For those interested in a group hike, we’ll be heading up Mt. Gardner after the retreat. This is a ~ 4-5 hour hike round trip and is moderately difficult. It’s worth the beautiful views at the top!
