A Spring Ritual For Renewed Energy
Spring is a time of rebirth, renewal and new beginnings. It is a time of balance marked by equal amounts of daylight and darkness. During this time we can awaken from our season of rest and begin to plant seeds for our future.
Here is a fun ritual to harness the energy of the season.
Re-Connect With Nature - It’s time to get outside and appreciate the beauty of the natural world. Take a mindful walk noticing what you see, smell, hear and feel. Notice the bright flowers, the scent of the new foliage, the soft grass underfoot and the birds chirping. Use the energy of the sun to lift your spirits.
Plant Seeds, Literally - Plant something new in a garden, garden pot or get a new plant for your home. Nurture the plant in spring and watch it grow. Let it be inspiration for your own life. What you nurture grows.
Do a Balance Audit - How balanced do you currently feel? What areas of your life feel overwhelming? Underwhelming? What currently needs your attention?
Set Intentions - Write down your intentions for the new astrological year. How do you want to grow this year? Who do you want to be? What do you want to experience? Focus on these intentions daily and watch them bloom.
Clean Your Space - It’s time for some spring cleaning. Clear out the clutter, donate clothing, dust the cobwebs and open the doors. It’s time to bring a fresh energy into your home.
Give Thanks - After the darkness comes the light. Send gratitude for the people, places and things that bring light and energy to your life. Spread the good vibes and tell people how much they mean to you. Buy someone fresh flowers - maybe you!
Plan a Celebration - What is one thing you really want to celebrate this season? How do you want to celebrate it? Harness the energy of the season to plan something that motivates you, brings you excitement, and gives you energy.
Try Something New - Shake it up! Join a new community, try a new class, check out a new restaurant, wear a new colour. Spring offers us the chance to begin again. You never know where trying something new could lead you.
